SRC changes - We are about to step things up a notch.
« on: October 14, 2016, 06:46:42 AM »
I just wanted to provide a little update on a few changes here at SRC.

I guess many of you probably wont know anything about us, currently SRC consists of myself and Emma and that's it ! Up until a few days ago I was a head professional and golf manager at an old golf club in Bath, England, a place I have been associated with since I turned pro in 1989.

Not anymore. As of October 12th 2016 we have left the golf club and are now going full time with SRC, needless to say we are childishly excited and can not wait to start designing and creating. In the next few months we will be considerably expanding our range and looking at a spectrum of new ideas. We will operate from our new offices and workshop, I will post some pictures once it starts to look like a place of work and not a total crap hole that's been hit by a bomb.

I wont say much about this next bit because you will find out soon enough however I will say that there will be a collaboration between us and another person who is right here on Puttertalk. Really soon.

Watch this space, cheers babbers.

Scott.

Editing my post because it wasn't as funny as I thought.

Super pumped for the next phase.

But rest assured, kids, these guys are doing it.  They aren't going to let us down.

Hang fire Col, keep your hair on luv.  Still unpacking boxes and trying to locate one of the sewing machines !!

Here are a few pictures of the first prototype yardage book holders which have been made from leather/Harris Tweed or leather/Japanese silk. Two of them are being put to the test by Jerry Foltz and Karen Stupples who are Golf Channel on course commentators. Also all round legends.

We will also making scorecard holders and a few other goodies too.
