Mygolfspy putter test
« on: May 08, 2015, 01:46:42 AM »
 :)

I had the good fortune to take part in a putter test Tues for Mygolfspy.com, Dave Wolfe, Sactown her on PT.

Byron had entered a 615, all the single pics are the 615.

Group pics are the 006, 612 and 615.  Should be top to bottom in that order.  Some comparison pics for you guys.

If any of you are in the Sacramento, Ca area he may be looking for a few more testers.

     5 putts each, 5', 10' 20'.  15-30 putters each session.

     Was a lot of fun.

                                            Dan

Dan it looks like the top of the 615 is wider than the 612--maybe even more than the 006.  It looks like front to back they're all about the same width.   Can you confirm that?

Dan/Dave, if you need any help in the Sacto area, I am here too (Granite Bay).  Happy to try to help if anything is needed.  I already have a 615 on order, so I'll soon be testing that on my own.  :)

Fharbist, where do you play? GBCG? I live across the street from GB on the North side of Sierra College Blvd. :)

One of these days I need to skip work and participate in a Sactown putter test.

Hi Ryan.  Small world.  Yes I'm right by the Club.  I'm building a little Byron fan base over here.

I think it's time for a Sac area Byron outing at Yoche De He.  Anyone interested?

Yoche De He! Sounds like we all live (except for Dan) about 5 minutes from each other. Maybe Dark Horse or The Ridge? I'm currently using up all my Costco Woodcreek and Diamond Oaks passes...

Let's get a time and place together.  There are a few guys in the Bay area, Daniel is in East Bay.  May be able to talk him into playing.  Dave's in San Jose, although I hear he hasn't played this year.  Might be a good time to play him.

     Really doesn't matter where.

Great pictures, thanks! Here is a comparison of DH-89, 615 and 612. As you can see the 615 is slightly longer than the DH-89 and about the same as the 612 except with a bigger top line.
