SRC intro
« on: May 11, 2014, 05:35:22 AM »
My name is Scott and I am a pro from Bristol, England.  I design and manufacture both putters and headcovers.  It is a great honour to be here on Puttertalk alongside so many legends.

I have always had an obsession with putters, I think every golfer does.  We are all looking for "The One".

I have an ever growing putter collection featuring many manufacturers with everything from bullseyes through to blades.

Have I ever found "The One"? Not sure yet, but I'm working on it.

What I have found is a connection with people from every corner of the earth who all have the same thing in common and I think that is extraordinary.

I hope you like what we do.

Welcome, Scott. Let's hope we never find "the one". The search is the best part.

Scott,
Loving the covers - do you do any slim ones that would suit an 8802 style blade?
Great to find another craftsman in the UK with an attention to detail. Someone should introduce you to James Ingles - your covers would offset his putter craftsman ship beautifully.

PM on the way to you.

Thanks for your kind comments.  I wanted to do a tribute piece from the infamous Banksy collection, he not only comes from my home town but is an incredible and very clever artist.  I have made several Banksy covers which are purely for my own use.  I thought you might like to see the finished covers.  They are hand painted onto leather which is really tricky and generally takes a long time.  I don't do many hand painted covers these days due to the lengthy process.

WOW....those are incredible......do you game these covers?  Just curious if the ink holds up by gaming them.  If you ever sold those, they would go quick.

I would only recommend gaming these covers if you are guaranteed 100% that it is not going to rain. That pretty much means you cant use them in the UK.

They should hold up pretty good but it would be a shame to ruin something that took so long to do.

Thanks again for your comments.
