First photo is of the Angel downtown Mexico City, it was lit to promote breast cancer awareness

Second is the Popocatepetl Volcano, still active and once in a while it gives off a fireworks show

Third is what the call the "sleeping lady" because it is supposed to look like a sleeping lady,,,,

I went to my sister's pad a few days ago.

She's twenty. This is her back patio. I texted the pic to mom. Turns out mom bought half the stuff.

Here are some pics from Newport Beach and Balboa Island. I got all excited when I saw this welded piece of golf art sitting in the back of some Balboa Island gift shop.

These were my two dogs.  Moses, the big one, passed in 2009.  Gideon, the little one, is now 3 years old and about 125lbs.

I'm still looking for a golf course that will let me take him on the course while I play.

Strange I looked a lot more lively the night before and trying to figure out the golfing format "threesomes" on my firstever visit to The Old Course left a somewhat bemused look on an already tired face.

The buried pinata in the pic is the funniest part... I wonder if it was full of Natty Ice?

I'm in need of some hats too. Maybe even some new colors.

Natty Ice, it was more like Genny Cream Ale and buffalo wings when I was in college.  "Natty Ice" was what we used to skate on during intramural hockey!

I could rock a Byron Design "Bombora" hat like the young lady with the hummingbirds!  If that was my daughter you would have heard a scream like you wouldn't believe!

My White Epic Day hat from the mixer is looking pretty ratty!  I knew I should have grabbed the black one!

Was just in Ocean City, MD for a short golf package trip with some friends and played some nice courses, Lighthouse Sound, Eagles Landing and Baywood Greens.

First time playing Lighthouse and I was very impressed with the layout and condition, greens were very fast and with the wind coming off the bay it was playing tough.  Baywood is known for its beautiful landscaping and the nice condition of the course & fast greens, it is inland a bit so the wind is less intimidating than the coastal courses.  Eagles is a municipally owned course and its inclusion helps keep the package cost down a little, but it is on the bay also and has a good layout and is in good condition but slightly slower greens than the other two.

A couple of pics...16th hole at Baywood and the typical flower box landscaping on the bridges at Baywood.

Had to head to Albuquerque, NM for work and thought I would share some pics.  The first pic is me waiting for us to takeoff.  You can probably tell that work was not on the top of my list for day one. We hit the Sandia Casino course right after landing (2nd pic).  The third pic was from the tram that took us up to sandia peak.  The 4th is a rain storm that was heading in while we were heading down.  Luckily we caught the last one before they secured it due to weather.  Part of our dinner party had to wait it out.  We also played a round at NMSU that week, but somehow I forgot to take a pic.

Some awesome tales here- my contribution from Saipan taken this past Memorial day.
Saipan just had a Typhoon roll through, so I can only guess course conditions now, but I have to say Lao Lao bay Greg Norman courses were really nice!

Played Spyglass last Saturday with some friends and we had a blast even though it was overcast and the fog rolled in on some of the back nine holes.

Hello guys,

Just got back from another trip to Europe (27 hours each way - what a killer!!!).

Played the Old Course in the wind, 9 holes of Royal Port Rush before the weather just got too bad and spent a day at the Ryder Cup.

My father-in-law comes from a small village in Cyprus and had never seen Paris or London and as he is not getting any younger and his wife likes him out of the house - we took him. We went from Sydney to London via Singapore. Stayed a couple of days then caught the train to Edinburgh (it's a great way to travel). Stayed there a week and hired a car to travel all around the highlands taking in St Andrews on the way to Inverness, the Isle of Skye Loch Ness and Loch Lamond and the Glenveigh National Park. Got a ferry over to Belfast and stayed a day before driving the scenic coastal road all the way up to Bushmills. We travelled around the North and made our way back to Dublin via Donegal and Derry and then caught a plane to Portugal. We left Dublin at 2 degrees and flew into Lisbon at 37!! Stayed a week in Portugal (no golf there but LOTS of cakes and good food) before flying back up to Paris. Showed the old man the sights and then we caught the Chunnel train back to London where we stayed a week again before the long haul home. Nice way to spend 6 weeks! That was the 'Reader's Digest' condensed version!  ;D I will post some pictures when I get time.

Rob
Kind regards,
Rob
