Cleveland Robusto / Connoisseur Series
« on: June 21, 2012, 12:01:58 AM »
I picked one of these today and thought it was a good deal...any idea what they are worth on the "market"? I know they retail for $300 but what is the actual cash or market value for one in mint condition? There are no completed listings on eBay of the LE series so I thought someone on here may know....

Nice putters. I think Never Compromise did a very good job with that series of putters. Unfortunately, it`s a very crowded market and a struggle to persuade people to pay the same as for a standard Cameron offering. Personally, I think they are easily as good as the Camerons, but they do not have the cache.

Oh and I`d say $175-$200 for one in mint condition, so they don`t hold their value like a Cameron, either. Dumb but true.

OK, thanks...I picked up a few a couple of days ago...this Connoisseur series (Napa / 8802 Style), a couple of different Gamblers in an Anser / Newport style head, and another in a Del Mar type head (heel shafted mallet almost looking putter).

Pictures are attached. I'm going to sell a couple and keep a couple I think...still debating on which one(s) I want...

I'm leaning towards the Black / Red (no paintfill on the sole) and the Connoisseur (Napa style)...any thoughts?

I think those 2 would be my first choices as well. I`ve tried all of those and they put a great roll on the ball. I did like the feel of the 8802-style putter the best, but I can`t put a lick with that style.

I had an old Oil Can Napa Valley for awhile and something wasn't right for me with that putter but I always loved the look.

Might have to try it again...
