Just picked up my second Dalehead
« on: February 01, 2012, 01:50:10 AM »
After enjoying my longneck dalehead that I picked up over the summer, I decided it was time to see what else I could pickup on the market that was the same but different.  Long story short, swapped for this in a trade am very pleased, though I must admit whatever paint was used for the paint-fill (be it original or touch up) was a real SOB to get out.  I actually still have a little bit in parts of the H's and one of the A's, but not noticeable except in close up pics.

As far as I can tell, the finish is a pro platinum style as there is some surface brownish rush that seems to be appearing a wee-bit on the top end, but it's not happening at all on the sole of the putter... so maybe I'm completely off on that assumption?  Anyway, if maybe a date or some ideas on finish/metal, I'd be very appreciative.  :)

My small and silly collection of flatsticks:
Cleveland TAM 2
John Byron Dalehead longneck
Kia Ma Rossa Monaco TP
PING Anser 2 BeCu
PING Anser 3
Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport 2
Spalding T.P. Mills TPM I
Spalding T.P. Mills TPM 8
Chicago Classic BeCu 8802

Congrats. I have two Byron DH89s and I love them. Easily the best putters I own. Their putters are a true work of art.
