well, here we go. i feel confident that i can identify an original 1964 Wilson 8802 by shaftband, buttcap and "nickel test". can anybody give me guide lines for an original 1965 Wilson 8813?
                                                         thanks mike

The original 8813 putters all had the word Wilson in script, meaning the s and the o are connected. Later models in 70's etc left a space between the s and the o. The other ways are basically the same as 8802

Mike, the 1965 8813 had a stepped AND fluted shaft.
