2010 Test Panel #4 - Bombora Short Pipe
« on: April 24, 2010, 12:19:48 AM »
OK, here's where you sign up for the carbon Bombora Short Pipe.

Basic specs will be:

34"
4* loft
1/2 offset    4:30 toe-hang (comparable to a standard plumbers neck)  rounded topline
YSC shaft

I'll take input on grip, head shape and weight, lie angle, sight markings, and paint fill.  Please only give input if you have signed up for the test panel.

More details about the 2010 test panel program later...

If the long one doesn't happen, I'd be in for the short one.  Same preferences: naked/dot, 330-340, rounded shape.
Putter Collection:

Byrons: 006 Black Oxide, 006 stainless, Dalehead, Dalehead Mini, 006 flow neck black ox, GSS Epic Day

Xenon: Copper Kurve

Need 4 or 5 more people for this test group.  If you are struggling to envision the Bombora with a short pipe (round) neck and a 4:30 (45*) toe-hang like a plumber's neck, this test group is for you.  And who wouldn't want to be in a test panel with Bambi380?  ;)

Will be determined by the vote of the group.  If compromise is needed, I'll make the call.

I love Chad Campbell's putter.  Wouldn't mind top- or flange-line.  IOmic grip or stitchback (even though it was too slick for me last time.  I WANT to like it so much I keep trying it).  OC finish.  Maybe matte OC.  Dirty White paintfill.

Or...., you just send me something and I try it.
