I think there may be some confusion over a true handmade versus a custom made putter.
True handmades are expensive and require loads of time. They are milled with no computer work and the maker shapes the putter by using a mill and his experience.
Customs are better priced and offer choice of stamps, finishes, etc. They start off as a base model milled by a computer then customized by the maker to the customer's specs. Portions are finished by hand, but most of the work is done by a computer controlled mill. These are what you see on tour and around here the majority of the time.
