BB-23 closed face at address?
« on: August 29, 2007, 10:09:18 pm »
Just picked up my first Bettinardi, a BB-23 (center-shafted mallet), and the faces closes down at set-up.  Is that normal?  I thought most putters open up.  I guess it doesn't really matter because I sank 15 ten-footers in a row on my putting green.

he...if that's the case you should decrease the loft on all your putters :) In all seriousness maybe the previous owner had it bent. BTW that's a cool putter that might be next on my list :)

I actually have one that is gonna go on Putterswap or ebay one of these days. I bought it a couple of years ago 'cause it was so pretty. Can't putt a lick with it, so it's 9.5+

Let me know if you want some photos.
