A copper inspired 12g putter
« on: July 25, 2012, 10:29:24 AM »
This is another variation of the 12g style putter we can produce. For this the customer wanted a different bumper configuration to our usual 12g's and he also wanted a copper insert and copper bullets to match.

This one is due to have a copper sight screw added, two copper sight lines and then some engraving on the sole, to finish it off it will be barrel blacked to bring out the copper colour.

Love the long neck on this 12g. Can't wait to see it all finish.

Another beauty, James.  The long neck and the copper accents are fantastic!

Love the long neck and copper as well. I have an older 1999 Special Dale Longneck that is along the order that you are describing, with black setting off the copper... you make putters that are simply pieces of art. Literally.

Thanks for the positive responses guys, greatly appreciated! This was another putter that as it was made had me thinking 'hmm, I like this putter a lot, maybe I should game one like this' not good considering this is my usual response to most of the putters we make!

JTeke, we have done a couple of Bespoke heel shafted mallets, both long slant necks, both old fashioned style mallet shape akin to a simpler TM XVIII, I have attached some pictures:

This one was finished a wee while ago, however for some reason I had issues updating the thread to get up some pictures. Anywho, here are the finished pictures of the putter, the copper against the black I think looks really nice.

You, sir,are an artist of the first order!

I love some of the fine work that you so, and I love the simplicity of it... even in it's complexity it is still simple in it's beauty.
