Title: Special Edition
Post by: fuzzyrichard on July 23, 2013, 04:41:00 AM
Just picked this up.. a Spalding TPM 3 Special Edition.

I've not seen this series talked of on here. Does anyone have info on these putters?

Lots of views but no replies, so here goes again.. I'm looking for some info on how this putter fits in to the Spalding series of TPMs as I can't find any threads on here that talk of a Special Edition series.

It has an Apollo Shaft.. stepped and Made in England and is fitted with a Proline grip. The only markings on the head are those that can be seen in the pics that follow..

Only a guess,

It may have been part of a series assembled in and directed at, the English/European market by Spalding, possibly back in the '70's or later, but as I say, only a guess.

I've not seen the design of this 3 before in any of the other series.. it makes me wonder how many were in this series and what the other ones looked like.
