I do too Chris, but I think some decent natural light pictures would illustrate the contrast better.

I should add that the putter has a sound slot too.  It sets up great at address.

Ahhh, I am more of a simpleton when it comes to my putter. Mine will probably be pretty basic compared to Stratts.  I am putting lights out with Stratton's old customized Ping Redwood, so I am going to try to model something similar with a shorter hosel possibly.  We had our fathers match yesterday against the boys and though I putted lights out..............Stratt still beat me by 6 strokes and once again the boys retained the title for another couple of weeks. :(

I will post some pics this evening.  It IS awesome.  I had a great time as per usual when dealing with Dave and the fine people of Machine.

I have had an unbelievably busy time since Friday.....  my extended weekend: Drove to Dallas Friday morning, returned to Austin that afternoon.  Stratt and I left Saturday morning at 5a and drove to Houston.  Walked 25 holes at the Shell Houston Open, left, played 18 at Kingwood late that afternoon, got back to Austin at 11:30p.  Stratt played and won again in a tournmament Sunday afternoon in San Antonio.......After work yesterday, I got caught up on clubwork by 11pm.     ahhh, I can breath now :)

Here is the newest member. I was truely amazed at the feel for such a heavy putter. Exactly what I was looking for! Got in four holes before the rain yesterday and it performed beyond my expectation!

That is a beautiful putter weaver93!!!!  How heavy is it?  I'll post pictures of my Machine as soon as I get it off my workbench.  I've got it taken apart in preparation for some new "bits and pieces".

Can't remember exact weight, but it is in the neighborhood of 450g. With it face balanced and the wide flange the weight is spread and it really doesn't feel or swing like that kind of weight. It makes the follow-through very smooth and speed easy to control. What really shocked me was the feel. It is still very responsive to the ball strike on the face.

450g or even higher is what I'm trying to get my Machine to.  I've talked with Dave concerning some different flanges for ol' number 20.  I like the looks of the new nibble-backs and double fat-backs.  Using one of these and the fact that my putter body is marine brass, according to him there shouldn't be a problem getting it where I want it.  I really like the disco ball hosel on your putter also.  It really flows nicely.  I'm going to try one of the center shaft hosels to get mine face balanced.

Mike, thanks for your reply to my email.  I will reply with more details tomorrow from the office.

Thanks Mark for your posts and support too.  What is that avatar?!  Sweet looking BTW.  :)

Everyone else, I have good news: Chris gets back early and will be back online in a week, and catch up on posting photos and updates.  In the mean time, I will try to do what I can to post some photos of recent work that is being completed.

The following putter is a M1A Fixer ART Putter in progress. This has a Disco Ball hosel, bent to replicate a big double bend shaft. This Disco Ball is being polished, for a cool contrast between the smooth polished sections that flow into the shaft, and the darker drilled dimples that show the mill marks and trap the light. The head shows hand hammered peening "growing" around the MACHINE logo. I used some hand ground and highly polished peen chisels to create a shiny dimples in varying sizes... This head will be hand torched with a polished sole wrapping up to the radius of the bumpers.

I will post some more photos of this and other customs that are being finished tomorrow.

Hope you enjoy!

-Dave

Machine M2A Converter 303SS, Tongue Back Flange, HSGB Modular CS, 342.5g

Chris or Dave,  can the modular CS be adjusted for lie after the fact?  I just picked up one used to see if the it works for my stroke before finally pulling the trigger on a custom.

Did you just win the one on Ebay?

We can adjust the Modular Centershaft Hosel if you would like.  How much are you looking to adjust it?  That one had the following specs when ordered:

Length   33 Inches
Lie   72.5 Degrees

Thanks

Just picked this up in a trade and it has kicked everything else out of the bag.  I know nothing about it though and posting because I am hoping someone could give me some detail about it besides the obvious.  No idea what value is on something like this too.  It appears to be torched as there are brown, blue and purple hues but maybe it's a finish.  There isn't anything stamped on the sole.  Anyone recognize it or have any information that might be useful?  Appreciate it in advance.

Nice one!
Welded neck Machines are rare. So are ones that dont have a medallion in the back.
Looks like a custom order.

Looks like a Converter in Carbon steel with a torched finish. Regular VFM milling.
I wont comment on price but this is a top notch example.

Game it and enjoy
