What putter do you currently use and what grip? Do you move the putter with your shoulders or more with your hands and arms.

Do you prefer sbst motion or do you allow the putter to arc and rotate along the path.

Bruce,
Your interview with Tony Wright was fantastic and led me to find this forum.  What a treasure trove of facts, theories and discussion here!  I was especially gratified to learn that my stroke isn't "flawed," it's just my stroke and I shouldn't fight it.  Look forward to deepening the knowledge of my mechanics and continuing to experiment with ideas from this forum and your lessons.

I recently changed my stroke from your position 6 to position 9 and I am now more often making those trouble 6-10 foot length putts.  I got the rotation change from backstroke to forward stroke to be stable at a much smaller number and my Birdie rate has since doubled!!

Another "aha moment" came when reading your statement that all great putters modify their set-up for longer putts.  That's a vexing problem for me...at past a certain distance (~45') I am really poor at striking the ball solidly and end up three-putting way too often. I've tried some slight changes but I think I've found something in my basement putting station that I want to try on the practice green that has some new hope for me.

Keep getting your message out!  Too many of us believe that the newest model from XYZ manufacturer will be the cure to our flatstick woes.

P.S.  What do you think about the Blast 360 sensor?  I couldn't find anyone using or mention of it here.

Thank you and welcome to the forum.

Probably find the perfect putter for your stroke somewhere in the forums.

That was fantastic. Any tips to figure out how to find the eye position to where you best see the line?
