My Dual Designer Putter

This may be the rarest putter I have. It is certainly a one of. It's a putter made half by me and half by Scotty. Yep, that's right, half and half. The head is from a milled line sold by Macgregor Japan back in 1991, and the neck, finish, and hand stamping done by Scotty in 1998. So how did this come about?

I was working at Cobra which was part of Acushnet (Titleist) at the time. Scotty comes into my office one morning as says he wants one of my hand mades I had done for Japan for a collection. (now I made only about 6 hand mades for Japan prototypes so don't ask me how he even knew about that) So I said sure you can have one (I only had two) but you have to make me something special in return.

So several weeks later he comes in and gives me this putter made half out of one of my Japan production putters, and half out of one of his necks and hand stamping. The result is a really special putter, just what I asked for in return.  Now how rare do you think that Putter is?

That is a great story.  Was Bobby Grace at Cobra at the same time too?

And it is stamped S. Cameron which would increase the value to many of the Cameron collectors. Nice story.

Yes, Bobby was there about that time as well. Had alot of fun times with him while we were there and still a good friend.
