TP Mills Touring Pro Huey Centre
« on: August 20, 2011, 07:43:18 AM »
:)I have just acquired an ageing TPM Touring Pro Huey Centre which appears to to have been well cared for with original grip and labels but with some rust pitting on the shaft.  I am located in Malaysia and I am wondering if I can have advice on how to check if the putter is genuine.  The TPM shaft label is still relatively intact and there is a fading sticker with barcode which has the orig price in Yen ( 30,4000) which seems right, presumably it started life in Japan  There is an etched numbe (JHCEDN00218) on the right hand side of the hosel.  If I knew how, I could post some images if that would help.
Actually, I have practiced with the putter for about 2 hours now and played a round for first time today and it feels absolutely right, so much so that even if it were not genuine I would be happy to continue with it.
Any advice very much appreciated. Thank you.

That is the correct Headcover and Grip and the label on the shaft you mentioned sounds correct. Genuine material there I would say.

Tks, nice to know, I did hope so as it came from the collection of a recently departed golf 'kaki'.
