Slighter Putters / Tom Slighter has a new golf partnership.

I understand he was going to retire since he has had a full time job while doing putter restoration and custom putter work. It seems he partnered with someone and together they are starting a putter company. I have one of his new putters, an initial run of 50, on the way. Putter #1. Very interesting story on these and I was just in the right place at the right time. It's an honor for me to get this amazing putter and I thank Tom and Co. The face is a bit different on mine.  :)

In addition to the Robert Mendralla model, I really like the Cleveland Crenshaw.

This may be posted elsewhere, but is that Odyssey deal a total no-go??  Seems so, but I didn't see any details on a confirmation or any reason(s) why...

My understanding is the deal fell through, though I didn't hear any specific reasoning.

As of last week I turned this back over to Lumpy. Toe hang was really fighting me on my natural swing. He showed me a few of the CNC heads, threw a shaft in one and gave it a roll. That's the head for me definitely.

Those milled 8802s are, I believe 11L17 carbon steel with an oxide finish.  They will feel softer than the chrome 8802s and you might like them because they are a lighter milling.  You could easily get one redone through Black Oxide Service or get a different finish applied.

They also have the stepped Head Speed shaft, which I believe contributes to the softer feel in the 8802s over many modern iterations.
