Hog's Eye Putter Question... and camo finish
« on: June 14, 2017, 09:46:32 AM »
I recently acquired a Hog's Eye putter. It has the HOG shaft from Dogleg Right, and the HOG grip, but it doesn't have any markings on the sole... completely blank. Was this a standard practice at one time, or is this some kind of an elaborate hoax? Every pic I can find on the internet for the Hog's Eye putter has identifying marks on the bottom.

Also... I added a camo finish... it's certainly not for everyone, more of an acquired taste. :)

... and the putter head is brass. Some Hog's Eye putters seem to be steel when looking online. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I thought it might help identify the origin.

Not sure of the answers to your questions, but Dog Left Right is the same entity as Machine Putters, and they have a message board here. Check it out and post something there and perhaps a follower there will know what you are asking about...
