Miura Lefty Blade Putter
« on: September 22, 2009, 03:18:19 PM »
Here's my Miura lefty blade putter. At first glance, I thought it looked the same as the righty version. From the pics, you can see that the righty version has a cavity while the lefty does not. Plus, the lefty hosel is thicker. Also, the toe of the righty is slightly bigger. As Chip mentioned, the KM350's toe hangs close to 90 degrees. The lefty actually hand at 90.

After taking the pics, it was shafted and ready to go. It does feels good. And the smallness of the putter just makes it look pretty cool.

Where were you able to order one? I did not see any lefty putters on the Miura site.
Thanks

Cross your fingers that this makes it to production. With only 10 available, I doubt anyone else will let it go at a reasonable price :)
P.S. I am leaving mine for my kids who are lefties. :)

No doubt- let's just hope that those lucky 10 will think to go to bat for the rest of us, if they like the thing- I'm ready to buy if this happens- dropped an email to the Miura site to ask if they'll send an update if it happens.  They appearently have the cavity less blade in proto (learned here  today on Putter Talk! I feel like a turncoat, but getting over it  ::)) in RH, so I think that is huge for our chances!

Still don't have the funds for my irons- might have to sell some things...  8)

Here is the status of Miura KM 350 style putters.
All the RH KM 350 Blades have cavities. These are still available.
There was only one RH KM 350 Prototype Blade model without a cavity made. I posted pictures in another thread in this section.
Only 10 LH KM 350 putters were made. None have cavities. All are sold.
Miura will consider all options in the future, but this is where they are today.
Thanks,
Chip

Nice to meet you and appreciate your comments Chip!  I am glad I registered today- it's always hard to find a place to get good info about left handed equipment.

(If it matters) I, for one, would take either design, but think the putter you posted above is beautiful! I understand the realities of the market and production, but will stay tuned to see if lefties get lucky!  A no brainer, would buy the putter and irons (and maybe a wedge or 2) no problem...
