612 vs 615
« on: March 15, 2017, 01:04:05 AM »
Hello folks.

I currently game a DH89 and love the look at address , particularly the thicker top line.

I am debating my next order and wondering if anyone can comment on the top lines of the 612 vs 615.

Even better, anyone have a comparison shot from address?

Thanks.

From what I understand, the 612 has a thinner topline than the 615.  Here's a link to a topline comparison that was posted some time back:  http://puttertalk.com/community/index.php?topic=43340.0

I hope this helps.

Address shot of my 612 (left) and 615.  The 612 top-line isdefinitely thinner (it's the thinnest top-line of all of my seven Morgans...).  Overall, 615 is slightly wider as well...

BTW... I have been keeping an eye on the 615's on eBay... maybe...

I figure it's another $150+ to turn one of those plumbers neck putters into something I would game - plus the delay while I have to wait for Byron to work on it.

But maybe...
