Anyone on here have a putter made by Tyson Lamb? They look pretty good to me. His instagram is @tyson_lamb. If you have one, post it up and let us know what you think.

Recently started following him on ig. I would really love one of his DH89 style heads with a big 'ole state of Texas on it.

Nice looking putters - still can't figure out how/where they can be bought. Think I read somewhere about available for sale at/after PGA Orlando Show

Starting price is $1200 and up!  Will do 10 per month.
If you direct message him on IG he will get back to you.  I saw the price and haven't messaged him back 😳
I think he did some sales through TableRock at the PGA show.

I posted in a similar thread over on WRX that I thought his pricing would start at $1,200.  That's a shame because he has some serious talent and his putters look amazing, but that is way to high for someone just starting out as a boutique putter maker.

Agreed. A bit steep when you can get 2-4 great putters for that $$$  from other established artisans active here on PT.

It is a shame...way over priced for someone starting out.  I think they are banking off of the distributor's former relationship with Cameron..."he's the new golden boy...buy them now as collector's pieces before his work becomes even more valuable, just like Scotty..."

Too many assumptions in that logic for my taste.

I'd have to agree that I think they are way over priced, but at the same time life's always got to have balance.   He does run another business...

At that price he must feel he's got a good balance between $$/putter and the number of sales/amount of time he wants to spend on putters.  At a lower price point he could be selling putters all day everyday lol.

Great looking CNC millings.  There are more choices now for custom putters at lower prices.  Tough to be the "new golden boy" when there is so much talent out there.

I do like his stuff, it's clean and simple but like others have said I would prefer a couple from LaMont or Kari or Lumpy for that kind of cash.  He may be the new golden boy but the "old men" produce putters with tales and history that money can't buy  :)

It's just my personal view this kid may garner some major OEM interest. I mean Scotty is not getting any younger.

As for me, I'd prefer anyone here over the kid.

Pricing is due to his association with TableRock, not from experience, knowledge of the craft or tour play.  Sort of a "direct to high-end" launch of a new CNC guy making putters.  They look very nice, I'll agree with that.  I have no idea how they feel or anything directly related to the putters.  The engraving he does with his machine is very cool.  Does this justify a $1200 price tag?  The public will have to decide.

These are way over $1200, and Jim Butler sold Table Rock GC in Ohio. It seems that Jim is marketing the putters. I'll admite his stuff is nice, but looks like a rip off of SC to be honest. Try getting an answer to an email, it's impossible.

He isn't going after the $350-$700 market or so it seems.

I've been surprisingly pleased with my lambs.  The amount of feel is incredible, aesthetically they are attractive, only thing I don't like is the price-point but I would imagine he'll be coming out with some affordable options.

$1,200 not that i've seen!

There are a couple on eBay at Lefty for $2,900 and a right GSS that is over $5,000.

They are already more than Scotty Cameron and SC has how many tour wins?

Nice stuff but the pricing is a joke!

There are half a dozen guys doing great putter work for 70% - 80% less money on this site!
Sunset Beach Ocean Isle LN 355g - GAMER
Scotty Cameron Milspec 350g
Scotty Cameron Original Futura
Palombi 389 7 of 8 350g

Respectfully, most all the putter makers here cost a fraction of what Cameron charges for GSS and other not off the rack putters. So, hearing that Lamb's prices are out of line compared to Cameron sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

Both are obviously trying to appeal to a certain segment of the market. I'm really happy not to be part of that and still have so many great putters to choose from. But, to each his own.

First world "problems".

Pricing aside, I'm not a fan of his stuff (or him from what I've read/heard/seen).

Oh well...I'm firmly in the the $1k or less market.

I've read this topic and the one on another forum without commenting but I really like the work he's putting out. I can see myself putting his putter in the bag no problem if it were not for the price. Maybe one day, I'll find one for a steal and get a chance to but for a small fraction of the price, I have many more options.

If he was more competitive in his pricing, I can see a ton of demand but that's not the market he's after and seems to be doing just fine leaving a peon me out of his demographic.

Have seen several of his putters in person about a year ago.    Nice stuff.
He does have an advantage that he can go everything in house. Where SC can't.   Everyone starts small someplace.      And as they always say , name your price early.

No different than PXG and their clubs.  LOTS of options, and you don't have to buy them.

I'm an owner of a custom Tyson Lamb Bridgeport. Bought it direct from Tyson which made it more reasonable in price than through Jim at TableRock. Granted I started this process of getting a putter back in August of 2016 and didn't receive it until August of 2017.

My previous gamer was a SC NP2 Button Back. Certainly the feel is different but I much prefer the head shape better at address with the Lamb. Been gaming it since August and I must say I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I'll get some pictures up when I figure out this forum out... bare with me.

I really like his work and have a couple accessories (cover/donut/pop top).  I was pretty gung ho to get a Lambcrafted putter but the absolute frenzy of the releases is just too much for me to stomach, as fun as it is.
I mean, if I'm spending $2000 on a putter, the fact that I literally can't even look at the pictures first to see what I'm buying isn't how I dreamed it up.  Maybe one day in the future when they start to become more readily available as Tyson himself has said they will, it will be different for me.

That would be great to see - never heard of anyone else who has bought a Lamb - which considering this forum is based on putter I suppose is a rarity!

There are some very cools putters that come out of his workshop.

I know this topic limps along but I had no awareness of the Tyson Lamb brand until my wealthy mate marked his ball with a TL coke can lid marker that would require a trick shot to jump over...lol

Then I clicked on the link above and yes, these are classy looking putters.  Thank goodness they're out of my price range!
