Please bring back the 006
« on: January 28, 2019, 02:45:44 AM »
Byron -

Please bring back the 006. As good as the DH-89 is (I own one you made for me), the Anser 2 lovers like me need the 006 again. The 615 is nice but doesn't have the classic lines of the 006.

I currently game a Scotty Cameron tour classic Newport 2 but will sell it in a heartbeat and play a Byron if the 006 comes back.

The putter below was once mine (5 years ago). Pure bliss. In true club ho fashion I sold it.

I would have to agree.  2 putters that stand out as being sorely missed are the 007 and 006 in Byron's line up.  While the 89 is a great putter the 007 is just a little different in feel and looks.  The 615 is ok but just doesn't look as good as the 006 or 612.

An  006 and 007 with the #4 tuna milling would be something I would order from Byron  :)

I miss my 006...I would have another one made almost just like it but with a slant neck...

I remember that one, it was a looker for sure.  Byron could make the 006 again and call it the 620 "HINT HINT" ;)

Same here - the only club I ever regret selling is my 006.  I'm in for one if Byron does another run.

Looks like the 006 has the classic Tiger neck which I prefer. I’d love to have one.

The standard 006 had a much blockier neck that the one in the OP. Byron softened up the edges on that one.

I would like to see them both for a comparison. I putt extremely with the 615 and cannot see what would make such a big difference.
