for year 2018 which of your Byron Morgan putters did you play most often ?

In my rotation I have  Byron Morgan DH89's  carbon Black Oxide, a carbon Oil Can, stainless Glass Blast, and Brushed stainless. The Brushed stainless was played for about 70% of my rounds of golf

Went Old School in 2018 and spent most of the year bouncing between these two classics - 611 (mostly) and 006.  The master plan of using older putters so that I'll putt more like I did in my 20s has yet to deliver the desired results, however.  There's always 2019 I guess.....

Went Old School in 2018 and spent most of the year bouncing between these two classics - 611 (mostly) and 006.  The master plan of using older putters so that I'll putt more like I did in my 20s has yet to deliver the desired results, however.  There's always 2019 I guess.....

Recently I'v started "seeing the line" I want to start my ball rolling on, and then looking at a spot on that line (a few inches in front of the ball) both at address and throughout the stroke.
It's helped my putting, so if you're looking for something to try......
Also, in addition to helping the ball get started on the right line, I've noticed that looking a few inches in front of the ball (instead of at the ball) seems to help smooth out the stroke and avoid any tendency to  hit/yip.
Regarding putter models, I think all Byron Morgan's are sensational

My carbon copper plated Epic Day Long Pipe putter was in the bag for all but a round or two (trying my new B17).  I doubt the Epic Day will miss any game time in 2019 as it has firmly planted itself in my bag.  Best putter I have ever gamed.

I also have a GSS DH89 (Long Pipe) that was commandeered by my wife when the UPS truck rolled up and delivered the Epic Day.  She believes she putts with it better than I do so he took it and says it's her putter (the GSS DH89).  Who's going to argue with a wonderful wife who is 100% Italian.

No, if memory serves me right, Byron made a run for the Asian market and made 5 of these in GSS.

If I am playing with the usual old ‘bastards’ I crack out the DBCM’s or the DH89’s in cool finishes for the oos and ahs, but if I seriously need to make putts it’s the old 365 X Proto; 33”, reverse paddle JAP Grip and the specs stamped on the sole. It is just a killer putter.

lol. Just one time on the practice green. I wasn't even using the DH89. I was using a 33" Ping Zing I had cut down for her. My wife is 5' 4". It also had a Superstroke grip on it. At the time I was putting with a BestGrips pistol grip.  Regardless I have relented. My wife's persuasion skills is obviously stronger than my will. Maybe a rematch is warranted.

I have a 008X that spent most of my abbreviated season in the bag... after my stroke in June, putting was about all I could still do normally. It is a solid copper head with a double bend shaft (imagine an AnserX) that is one of two putters that I love the most. Rolled it on the carpet for a while yesterday and if just has a great feel about it.

I played the DH-89 for the first part of the year. Changed when the 612 arrived for a few months and moved to the 615 when it arrived. The 615 has a counter balance SS pistol grip which I love and am in the process for putting one on my DH-89. I will put that in the bag for the start of 2019. I feel I could game any of the three because they all are superior putters and basically have the same specs, the DH-89 being about 15 grams heavier than the other two. Looking forward to a great 2019 and wish all here the same.
